Hi people, my Cherokee 1996 show 44 and 47 fault code. The firts one means."12 volt on the J2 input was not detected during startup diagnostics (for 1987 and later models)" and the 47 fault code means:" battery voltage sense input below target chargin voltage during engine operation". I have some questions (please be patient):
1. Both fault codes are inter-dependent?
2. I know where is my ECU, but I donīt know whatīs J2. My ECU has 3 big connectors; each one has a lot of wires (numbered). I attached a drawing for my ECU label (JGF0AU3R P56041 large 201 T0406 JBSAA). Where can I buy that ECU? Any diagram?
2. With digital tester, engine running, on bat 12.03 volt, on alternator 11.98 volt. But the engine start normaly. The panel voltmeter instrument show more or less 11 volt. All the equipment running ok: AC, lights, locks door and windows.......... How can I do to know if my alternator has internal voltage reg?
