Default cherokee 1996 4.0
starts but die when cold, runs fine when its warmed up. if i give it gas while starting it will stay on. any help would be great, thanks typing error. its a 4.0 sorry.

Had an 85 Trans Am that did something similar....it was something like the fuel/air mixture being screwed up from a bad sensor.
