I love GM power the company may suck but man can they make some great engines! That motor is also pretty easy to find and inexpensive as well they came in all vette's from '84-'92 and one of the motors put in the Trans Am's & Camaros from '87-'92. So there are alot of them in the JY's ready to be rebuilt. But I would have done an LT1 just as easy to find some may be more expensive but the after market is huge for them. Are I could thriugh the LS1 in my garage in mine Hehheehe. No that's not going to happen sorry guys

Very clean looking under there.
As for Why the factory never did it in the XJ, won't pass crash tests and the over heating would be a pain in the butt..

Do you hear banjos?
I keep hearing about over heating, and if they can make a Corvette, or Trans-Am, or Camaro, and keep them from over heating, then I think they could figure something out for the XJ!!
