Default Check Engine Light problems? transmission?

Check engine light came on a few days ago.. Went to o'reilly and had them read the code(s) p0700 and p0743 were the codes given. From what i've found online, this isnt a job i can do, and must be done by a "professional". True or nah? Also they gave me a list of possible causes for each

p0743-
pcm has failed
tcc solenoid control circuit is open or shorted to ground
tcc solenoid has failed
transmission relay has failed
transmission relay power circuit is open

p0700
TCM or pcm has failed
tcm related sensor has solenoid has failed
the presence of this code means the tcm detected a problem
this code is for information only

Not really sure how to go about this and any help would be greatly appreciated and if possible, id like to do it myself because i don't like paying someone else to work on my vehicle.

Thanks y'all

When driving, how does the transmission behave? Shift okay? Overdrive locks up/unlocks okay?

When was the last time the transmission fluid was changed? Is it serviced to full? What color is the fluid? Are you using Dexron III/Mercon ATF in your transmission?

I dont really notice any problems. it clunks from a stop but only occasionally. All my fluid levels are fine. i check them almost every other day and make mental notes of any changes and have not had any with my trans fluid.
