check engine light came on today.... a few codes that mean nothing to me but one i haven't had before came up. #41- An open or shorted condition detected in the generator field relay circuit.

Sooo the relay to my alternator is bad?? or my alternator is going bad??

Yup, your alternator is heading south. 41 = alternator. There is no alternator relay.
