Cleaned my NSS, my jeep was running good, light stayed off after clearing the code, and it would shift into overdrive like normal. Ran like that for a couple days, now the light is back on, p0705 - NSS (same code as before), and get the intermitent loss of overdrive again - which I can solve by shutting off and restarting the jeep.
Anyone have this problem after cleaning the nss?

Unfortunately, cleaning the switch isn't enough sometimes. It sounds like you're going to have to replace the NSS. I've not run into this issue yet with my XJ, however I've run into this issue with other vehicles, cleaned the NSS and still had to replace them.

I found out what it was. Haha, it's that #10 fuse thats listed as OPEN in the owners manual. I took a fuse out of it, and whadaya know, nss starts acting up again. haha! Popped it back in and problem solved (knock on wood)
Good! I'm glad that it was a cheap fix...I'll remember the fuse thing. lol.
