Default Check Engine Light after installing Ford injectors

Hey everyone, I have 1996 4.0L 5 speed XJ. Yesterday I installed some Ford style injectors from a 5.0 Explorer (part number 0280155700). After everything was put back together, I started it up and it was running VERY shakily and had a rough idle. I ohm tested the injectors prior to installation and they were all right around 15-15.5 ohms. I also installed new o-rings and filters prior to installation so they were in tip top shape. After my Jeep ran like crap, I shut it off started it a few times and it ran great. I drove it once and everything felt good, no misfire or anything. I shut it off and started it ten minutes later and it was running shaky again. I shut it off and turned it back on 5 times and it ran fine. It hasn't ran like crap again and starts up good every time, but I have a check engine light. I used a scanner and got the codes P0201 and P0203 which Open Circuit in Injector 1 and Open Circuit in Injector 3. All the injectors were within spec and it runs good now, why am I still getting these codes?

if that's what the codes translate to then I would say a bad connection on those injectors/plugs.. pull em and look at the contacts on both the plug and the injector

I already checked every connection and used some electrical contact spray to clean them. I'm befuddled with this one.

Put some needles thru the wires and put the multimeter on them again. Maybe one of the connections got cracked.

Switch the two "bad" injectors to different cylinders and clear your codes. Run it again and see if you pop codes on the same injectors. That will tell you if the problem is with the injectors. If you get the same codes as before you know you have a problem with the wiring for those cylinders injectors.

I guess I'll switch the injectors around this weekend, I don't have time right now. For now I'm gonna disconnect the battery to reset the computer and see if it helps with anything. I have 2 spare injectors I can try out if it doesn't work out.
