I have a 95 cherokee sport. i have been having issues here lately with the charging system. it started off when i would turn on the heater and put it on defrost my volt gauge would go to almost nine so i disconnected the ac compressor and the electric fan and this stopped the problem. now when i turn the heater on past low my guage will drop slightly. i tested it at work with all my acessories on and it was only putting out 43 amps and like 10 volts. so i bought a new alternator today and its still having the problem not really sure where to go from here but i also have a brand new battery to. my battery cables and terminals are not getting hot. if anybody has any advice please let me know because this is getting really old
