Changing out a heater core for 91 Cherokee Larado
Does anyone know what the easiest way is to change out the heater core for a 1991 Jeep Cherokee Larado 4.0L? Mine is leaking pretty bad and I bought a new one, but I'll be dam*ed if I can figure out how to get the old one out to put the new one in. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

Heater cores are never easy... I have not had the honor of doing one in any of my jeeps. But it usually involves removing part of the under dash stuff on the passenger side. Get a Haynes or Chilton's manual it will walk you through it. These manual are very valuable for basic repairs and even some advanced stuff, once you get more familiar.

i just looked in my manual and basically everything on the passanger side under the dash has to come out but first you have to remove the fan motor from the outside.hope this helps.you definatly need a good chilton manual for this job.

I know it looks a bit overwhelming, but it's not too bad. just take your time and dont get pissed-(see broken parts) The manuals leave something to be desired, but are overall worth the cost. Can't tell you of any short cuts, cause i'm not aware of any. Once you get into it you will become a little more comfortable with it. Good luck

Came across this thread and I need to replace the vacuum supply line and I don't know if actually have to take out the whole dash or can I get to it from underneath the glove box?
