changed my alternator in cherokee now wont start

i just changed the alternator and now it wont start it is a 91 cherokee 4.0 it tuns over but does not pop or anything any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

If it started BEFORE you changed the alternator, all you can do is pop the hood and perform a comprehensive inspection of what you may have disturbed such as coil wire, etc. It is very hard for us to help you with this. It is extremely unlikely that the simple installation of an alternator is preventing the engine from starting..................You'll find it.
