Stalls at random times, acts like it is loading up, and starts real easy when it is cold but starts hard when it is warm. 1996 XJ with 4-liter. Anyone have any ideas?

Always review tuneup status. Fresh plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter.
Check fuel pressure with a gauge. Compare your numbers to factory spec.
A hard start when warm could be an engine management sensor, like the coolant temp sensor. I'd consider starting the testing of sensors if the above doesn't resolve.
