chances melted cps still gave right numbers?
My 89 xj renix sat for one day and then got no spark, after hours of research and observation, i noticed the cps cable was melted. I however, got good numbers ohms and voltage wise when testing. 1 hour later i managed to remove the cps, i examined it, and the melted part bent and cracked in 2 pieces like a twig! What are the chances that that caused me to get no spark despite correct ohms and voltages? I ordered MPE CSS980SB from napa, has anyone used that?
