Default Center Leaf Spring Bolt

I just got my lifted leaf springs off my old rig so I can get my lift on my new rig. When I got the axle off, I noticed that on one of the leaf springs that the bolt in the center of the spring had broken. It broke right above the first leaf and shim.

So do i need to fix this or just line them up when put them on.

If I need to fix this, how? Where do I get a new bolt?

Thanks!

Hi, you should definitely put the pin back in and you can just use a hardened bolt and nut to put in there...Tj

i use 5/16" (IIRC) allen head bolts. they fit great and theyre harder than the GR8 bolts.

2xs. Also , the head needs to fit in the top of the axle to line it up and hex head bolts wont fit in there. It needs to be a round head.
