CEL Q (Cat Converter)
Check Engine Light came on recently which read that my cat had restricted flow or some such garbage. It is a hard code and when I clear it, it will come back shortly (less than 500 miles for sure). Where should I go from here?
I have a new Cat back exhaust (dynaflow) and my cat was replaced by the dealer with the recall (cat replaced and the PCM was flashed). All this happened no more than 6 months ago. Is there a specific code for O2 sensors going out?
Thanks for your help,
s

Do you know what code it was? It could be one of like 10-20 related to the catalyst..
I would change you O2 sensor first, since thats what monitors the CAT. Do you know how many miles the sensor has on it? Pry just time to change it.
