Default CB antenna / spring instal questions

okay so I bought this coax HS818TNKT 18 ft Coax w. Removable PL259 and Terminator Stud - Electronics Superstore www.WalcottCB.com

to go with my firefly 4ft antenna, I also bought the stainless fender mount that seems to be the norm around here.
Firestik SS204A Adjustable, SS Vertical Door Jamb Mount - Electronics Superstore www.WalcottCB.com

I go thru lots of brush, so I was like better get a spring.
Firestik SS34H Combo. Heavy Duty "SS" Spring & Stud Mount - Electronics Superstore www.WalcottCB.com

bought that, now I see it has to be wired in and I'm lost?????
how would I wire it in with the coax I bought?

I would send it back, and buy a regular stainless spring without a built in stud. It will screw into your coax stud, and your firefly will then screw into it. Just remember to check your SWR, since the spring will have a large effect on it.

Use the spring as the nut instead of the nut that came with the coax
