It will be hot. I've had mine out for cleaning the interior for two weeks. It's hot. The steel floor can get hot enough to burn you.

If you put bedliner or some other king of rust inhibitor then replace the carpet over it. Will the heat be increased or should it stay relitivly the same as when it was just the carpet on the floor?

It might be a bit cooler with bedliner stuff and carpet, a lot cooler than just bedliner junk and no carpet. Without the carpet you get a lot of heat and a lot of noise, sweaty and deaf is no way to go through life son.

Yea I dont have carpet in mine and its freaking hot! I threw my carpet out, which i regret, but plan on using rubber mats with heat stuff taped to the underside.

Just put you hand where the e-brake is and imagine that heat without any insulation. Its hot and sucks when you dont have a/c

I flooded my jeep in muddy water so a week later i was forced to take the carpet out on account of weeds growing out of it. i used bed liner inside and i now know ill never do it again, easier to keep clean but alot hotter and waay louder.

It sucks not having carpet. Even with the A/C on here in Miami, my upper body is cool but my legs are on fire thanks to the floor. I am bedlinning and putting carpet again VERY soon.

I just pulled the carpet out of mine, mainly becouse it got wet one too many times and starting growing stuff! So I did a roll on bedliner, yes it is louder but the heat is nice in the northwest!
