Car dies at stoplight
I have a '98 Cherokee Sport, the car runs great, except for a little problem:
Sometimes, while idling at the stop, the car has a hiccups and dies. Check engine light comes on. The car then restarts normally and runs fine. Usually the Check Engine light goes off in a bit.
Last time I had a code reader in my car and I was able to read the error code before it went away: P0340 (something related to the camshaft sensor).
Any suggestions about what I should do?
Thanks!

Clean the contacts of the camshaft sensor. It'll be the three wire plug sticking out of the distributor. If that doesn't fix it, replace it. It's a $50 part on average, usually lower.
