Every so often, I will end up not driving my XJ for a few days. I'll drive my wife's car, or my Sunday driver a couple days in a row. My mind starts to drift into buying a newer vehicle. Then I jump in the old girl, and realize, "I love this thing, I'm not buying anything else".
I can't be the only one that falls in love with this thing again and again, right?
2000 XJ, stock except for TUPY head installed at 50k, currently sitting at 170k.

You are very anti consumer, may not even be a capitalist. See above. If not cured in 30 days, move to Cuba where you will be forced to drive it. No new cars at all there

I hate modern vehicles with all the driver assist nonsense. I don't need indicators in my mirrors to tell me when a car is next to me and I don't need the dash yelling at me when I'm changing lanes and i definitely don't need touch screen anything controls. Only thing I wish worked on my Jeep is the A/C.
I am with Veeb0rg on this one.
I need my computer to be smarter then me to a degree.
I don't need my phone, TV, or car to be.
When I was still driving for the Napa one of the cars had bluetooth.
I would accidentally hit the button, the damn thing would not stop talking, and to this day don't know what button I hit or how to get it to stop.
It is a miracle I didn't run the car into a telephone pole to get it to shut up.
LOL.

I can relate to this, I have multiple jeeps for various intended purposes and when I decide to drive one vs the other, that wave of ambition and impulsive tinkering will kick in. Now not only do I remember the qwerks/issues the jeep has but I also start scheming to fix/make it better! It really is a sickness!
Sometimes these fix/upgrades come to fruition and then other times they just get added to an ambitious list of things to do because i surely will not remember them once i hop in one of the other jeeps...
