Can't get door hinge pins all the way back in

Just an FYI, using heat may not be the best idea here as the pins have a black plastic sleeve around them. may or may not have slightly deformed one... lmao.

Mine are all brass ,dont put the plastic ones back in use brass LUCK 2 u

The pins in your picture look like steel with the yellow zinc phosphate coating, not brass.

Yes, either way the black sleeve is black plastic, just like the OEM one I grinded through.

Different design for my year, but maybe you can use a bolt instead of a pin like I did.
