Hi! Brand new owner of a 2000 and 2001 XJ. Looking for some ideas on best places for body parts in Calgary and/or Canada. Specifically I need a new grill and front bumper. Nothing special, it will be my daughters daily driver. I do get to Montana once in awhile and can ship from a US supplier to MT and pick it up as well.

Body parts are where you can find them, mostly junkyards and Craigslist. Then there's always J.C. Whitney. They do have some body parts. Fair warning: Once you buy from them, you will forever be on their mailing list.

A quick search showed up a new site I haven't seen before: carbodyparts.net


If it's a new part from an online source, expect it to be cheaply made in China, not the same as OEM. It might fit, it might not. Metal will be thinner, paint will be poor quality. If you go that route, plan to take it to bare metal and start over with quality primer and paint.
