I've got a parts manual for a 2001 model and it doesn't show that sensor on the 2.5L. Autozone online doesn't reference it either.

I did find a power steering pressure switch listed at wholesalemopar.com

1999 - Jeep - Cherokee
Steering gear and linkage, Pump and hoses, Pressure switch, Pressure switch - 2.5 liter - 2.5 liter - $24.87

It may be something you have to get at a dealer.

quick question. on the first picture where the wires are coming out of the sensor the orange rubber poking out can be pushed back in. And thats where its leaking from. would i have to buy a new piece that has the wires or can i fix it.

When you get the sensor , see if they stock a connector repair kit. Connector ends should be replaced when the are oil soaked like that. Napa, Autozone and Carquest all carry factory replacement connectors
