Okay so here is the situation i own a 1998 jeep cherokee sport 4.0 4x4

its showing the codes p1391 and p0320

i have replaced

distributor
cam sensor
plugs and wires
cap rotor
and the crank sensor yet still showing the code

only symptom is that it hard starts and by that i mean it takes it a bit to start up but always does start all the other threads ive read on this topic theres wouldnt start so im not sure if im just lucky or i have a different problem but any advice/help would be appreciated

Did you clear all of the codes before you replaced the parts?

if there is a inspection cover or hole in the transmission for the flexplate you can look at the reluctor ring and see if there is any damage. if there is the crank sensor cant pick up a signal if there is to much space in between the reluctor and sensor. was a starter replaced reciently?

 

no still has the stock starter but its almost like a intermidiete problem forgot to mention up top but usually struggles to start when the motor is cold
