ok my question is can i use spacers for the coil springs if i plan to go offroading or are they just for looks. ive never used them and i dont want to waste my money on something thats not going to preform like i want it to. i have new springs under the jeep now but i want a little more wheel clearance in the front

yes coil spacers will work for off-road use

but nothing beats good ol' coils meant for the specific job

they only fall off if you unseat your coil ,so first your suspension needs to drop enough to unseat the coil...you can drill and bolt them to the tower and even super glue them so they don't drop when unseating a coil...I have a 2 spacer on top of a 6.5 coil it stays there just fine with long arms .
