I'm building a custom lithium starting battery setup and I need to keep the max amp alternator output below 100 amps and I'm finding a LOT of conflicting info. The alternator in the vehicle right now is a Denso with the following sticker number: REM-C023 7219 13833 080. I can't get an exact match on that but I think it's 117 amps?? Does anyone know if that's correct and does anyone have any suggestions for a 90A that would drop right into a 99XJ (looks like mine uses a plug and the earlier models use two studs). Do the earlier models use the same brackets? can the plug wires in my 99XJ be wired directly to the studs in the earlier models
? Thanks for any info!!
