camshaft oil plug
i took the tranny out to change the frezze plugs because they were leaking and i notice the one for the oil was leaking as well so i took it off and ...now i cant find the damn plug..
autozone=nada
advance=nada
dealer= " sorry sir that jeep didnt have a camshaft plug"...stupid dealer...
anyone knows where i can get that plug i have 2 days looking for it...

I've called Napa/advance/discount/O'Reilly's and asked for parts using the EXACT terms out of the FSM. I have gotten 'no, your jeep doesn't have that' or 'we don't carry those types of parts'. I walk in with the same part in my hand and they pull it off the shelf in a few moments. Steering stabilizer mounting stud was my last adventure.
Unfortunately, you don't have the part to show them. My story doesn't really help you. Best of luck.
