its not that hard. once you pull the headliner board down, take the old fabric off it then using spary adhesive start from the middle and work you way out. might want use some staples after you wrap alittle around the back. just take you time in pulling the board out to make sure you don't break it.

I like the mossy oak much better but that is OK.
The idea was to tell him how and what he would need not to select the material for him.

Once you know how then the material can be what you chose to make it your own personal statement.

JoAnn's or Hancock Fabrics both have some but the pattern may not be exactly the one you may want. Remember the width has to be pretty wide.

 

Yeah I just talked to a local place that is a wholesaler and they have camo material but they said the headliner material has some sort of a light foam backing to it.. So my question is this can you use just normal material without that foam padding or must you have that foam backing?

 

I got my camo fabric from Walmart, you can also try any fabric store. When doing your headliner you got to be real careful when getting rid of the old glue and fabric cause you do not want to tear or crack the fiberglass

 

I got my material off ebay, it's a non foam backed material.

Once you pull the old fabric off you'll want to clean the backer good for a proper adhesion, a hand scrubbrush works well for this. You want to knock off any loose old foam. my first headliner i took the vacuum to it with the bruch attachment on it, that worked well also.

Lay the fabric over the backer board and fold it back exposing half the headliner... spray some adhesive on the backer and material.. do a few coats and wait till it tacks.. you dont want glue bleeding through if your using a nonfoam material. once you have a few coats carefully fold the one side over and lay on backer working from the center and smoothing as you go. A second hand would help here. Then repeat for opposite side and trim the edges.

Anyone have the secret to removing the overhead console? I have looked but have not located any screws to remove it and I am certain it has some.

Never liked doing interior stuff. Rather rebuild an engine than to work on seats and upholstery.
