Default camber Plate?

So I have been thinking, my camber is still off from something since the Tubes are strait, (I am still thinking the C's are bent) and with money tight I was thinking of making a plate to adjust camber at the Wheel bearing. What are your thoughts on this? doing 1* would be pretty easy. and it would be $40 per plate to have them professionally machined.

(something like the plate pictured between the hub and knuckle in these photos)

Do you mean camber instead of castor? Castor is adjusted by the control arms
