CA bushing size
building my own control arms and would like to know what ID the tube needs to be to use the OEM bushing at the axle ends? all i can find is them for sale... wanting to try and make the arms out of the same stuff

Short anser ... 2.25 ID
Long answer ... RE used to use 2.625 tubing that is .188 wall .... basically .. it's the same housing for their Superflex joints. They would just press it right in. 2.625 - .188 - .188 = 2.249
Super Complex answer ... I can find you the dimensions of the custom cradle I had made. I machined for a 1:1 fit on most of the bushing and where the step is ... I went for a *light* interference fit. Pics of it are in the Tech Snob thread.
