So my air was screeching. Then it started only working on high. Then not at all. Figured it had to be the bearings in the blower motor and the blower motor resistor...

I replaced the blower motor and resistor (didn't screw the motor in, because I wanted to check it -- but that's irrelevant).
I turned my air on and it only worked on high, and screeched a bit (not loudly). I turned it off and tried it again... Stopped working all together.

Does this mean it's the switch itself?
I'm running out of parts to replace, so I figure that must be it.

Sorry for making a thread instead of making due with searching... I've been working on my Jeep all week, and would for once like something to be simple, so I'm looking for a semi-definitive answer. =P
Any suggestions?

 

Does it screech when you have the blower on without the AC being on?

 

I don't know, I can't check... Nothing comes on, now. That's why I'm thinking it's the switch.
Think I've got the right idea?

The screech definitely sounded like a bearing screech coming from the blower motor, though.
