Please I need help, my a/c must have just put in not too long ago, before I bought it. It only blows out of the defroster and floor heater vent. I have it taken all apart, and the heater/ac control is suppose to have a value connector??, not sure I have it. And where does the vacum line under the hood hook up to the motor. I have an extra vacum line just hanging under the hood that comes from the area of the a/c through the dash.
PLSE HELP, IT IS HOT.

Don't know where all the pieces are located on your Cherokee, but when the AC blows out the defroster you have one BIG air leak. That rule applies pretty much to all cars.

Buy yourself a hand vacuum pump. Run the engine and the AC and pump down the pressure in that line that's hanging loose. See if that doesn't change the direction of air flow.
