A/C Problems / Airflow cuts in/out with acceleration
I have a 88 Jeep Cherokee pioneer 2 wheel drive, 4 door.
It cools and heats pretty good but when i get up to say 35mph+ the airflow goes down or to nothing.
I was told its probably the blower motor solid state resistor module.
Which in mine is a black box thing under the dash or the front passenger.
So... is that it, does it need to be replaced?
I don't want to spend alot of money so I need to know exactly what it is so i can save and fix it here in a month or 2.

I don't think driving speed would effect the blower motor speed. Are the dash vents reverting back to the defrost vents under acceleration? If so, a new vacuum check valve may be needed.
