Default A/C pressure relief valve spraying / over heating.

When ever I have my a/c on my jeep starts to get pretty warm it likes to hang around 220 degree's I live in the desert with 90-100+ temps. I had my jeep idling with the a/c on and the temp creep up to 220 degree's and stopped blowing cold air. When ever I pressed on the throttle oil and freon would spray out of my a/c pressure relief valve. I popped on a a/c pressure gauge and my pressure was way out of wack extremely high. I shut the jeep off let it cool off than started it back up and tested the Freon pressure again this time it was back in normal specs and my a/c was blowing out cold air again.

Are the high temps causing pressure spikes in my a/c system?
Could I have a faulty a/c compressor be causing my jeep to run hotter than it should?
Is it possible I might have air in a/c system that's expanding with the heat?

I know our Cherokees can run at 220 degree's if I leave my a/c off I have no problem keeping my temps at 200 degree's at idle. Even when I'm driving with the a/c and at high way speeds my temp likes to stay at 220.

In the past month I have tried to prepare my jeep for summer by installing a 2 row all aluminum radiator, radiator cap, thermostat (mopar brand), water pump, clutch fan.

My A/C fan works perfect kicks on at 218 degree's and kicks on when I have my a/c on.

Sounds like the hi-pressure switch has failed and not shutting of the a/c compressor. Need to determine why a/c pressure is excessive. 220 in triple digit weather is a little high but not uncommon. Is the fan shroud intact/in place?

Yes fan shroud for the mechanical fan is still in place. When my jeep is at idle my a/c does not blow cold air at all. My jeep has to be at 2000 rpm's to do anything.
