Default A/C leak? Need help on how to test!

It has started to get warm so I wanted to get my A/C working again. When I recharged my A/C it blew cold for a week or two then went back to being warm. I assume I have a leak and would like to test and fix it. Any advice would be appreciated! Idk if there is a single seal or many places it can leak from. Thanks!

If you do not own a sniffer, that would be the first place to start.

Has anyone used the dye and UV light that the auto parts stores sell?

Much cheaper than the sniffer, but is any of these kits worth it?
