a/c help
I have a 90 cherokee and of course it runs r12. well refit it and changed the orings and everything and recharged with 134 and works good but it is still not as cold as id like it. Does anyone know of a kit maybe to retrofit it with a r 134a compressor or lines or anything. thanks

It's just my opinion, but if you want an R12 system to blow ice-cold, use R12. It's still readily available.
Converting them is hit or miss. It works just fine on some systems, others get lukewarm air and start changing condensors, adding larger fans and spending wads of cash just to get back to what the OEM system once provided.
Did you flush out ALL the old oil? Pull a good vacuum? What are your low/high pressures running?
