A/C help
I replaced my heater core and evap while I was in there. The seemed to be at the schrader valve though and when I tried to remove it, it wouldnt budge. Are these know to stick? Should I just replace the the lines?

The newew models definately have schrader valves. I cant get the low pressure one out. I picked up a universal tool at the parts store and the tooling part twisted inside the handle. Im thinking I may pull it out and put a wrench on it see it itll come out that way.
here are the valves listed at autozone. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par.../N-je9i2Z9pf27

Ha I realize its crap, but it wasnt easy to find the large sized on. This is why I was thinking bout using some pliers to make it work, hopefully. May as well try and get it off cuz the new hoses are like $100! Ill soak it with some PB blaster tonight and cross my fingers.

Are you talking about the hard lines that run from the AC into the back of the evaporator, through the firewall? The ones that need one of those special disconnect tools for If so, the tool goes in HARD sometimes. Tap it with a rubber mallet if you need to, I had to.
