Default a/c delete-what to do with leftover hoses?

My a/c compressor clutch seized and I replaced it with a bypass pulley. I was wondering what to do with the leftover hoses, electrical connectors and other a/c parts. Are they safe to leave in place?

yea why not....just tape up the connectors good and would be a good idea the throw to dielectric grease in them to keep them from corroding in case you ever went back

you could rip it all out and just put the compressor back in for a OBA system

I would have liked to have done the OBA but my compressor pulley seized tight the other night. It had been making a lot of noise for a few weeks. I started it to go home the other night and I got nice fan belt squealing and a bunch of white smoke. I shut it off right away and I feel lucky that it didnt run long enough to cook my new serp belt off. The belt still looks good.
