I was wondering if my a/c compressor is going bad. I currently have no a/C cold air. My clutch keeps coming on and off. It reads at 45psi but when the clutch kicks on the psi goes to zero then the clutch kicks off and the psi goes back to 45. the cycle just continues to occur the entire time. During that time there is still no cold air blowing out the vents. The compressor is making a roaring noise. Is it the compressor or could it be something different?

Like shaking a bunch of bolts around in a coffee can? It's gone.

 

Is the compressor causing my psi to Continuously Cycle from 45 to 0?
