Default A/C charge

Im about ready to add a can of 134a ,anything I need to do other than have a/c on max, never did it before but sounds simple.I have a pressure check gauge and it shows it low, compressor not kicking on,also one can or two to bring it up,guess I will check after adding one, hopefully it will kick on,also when is pressure checked with it running and ac on i would guess

Depends on how big the can is. The amount of charge that yours hold is under the hood on a sticker. Honest opinion, save yourself some cash and go to a shop. If you dump $40 worth of charge in it and have it leak out the next day, I am sure you wont be happy. A shop will do it for 50-120 and telll u if u have a leak. Plus those cans have oil in them, and if u over oil your system, it will cause problems to.

Word to the wise, I added stop leak to my grand am 2 years ago, pretty much ruined the system, ganked up the filter, orfice tube and who knows what else.
