Question A/C Blowing Out Wrong Vents/Defroster

My A/C has been blowing out of the defroster vents for a few months now, and although the air is still cold, it fogs up the windshield.

I first searched YouTube for a solution and found this video:
, which helped me understand where to start.

After scouring the forum, I came across these diagrams:

I followed the diagrams and traced the vacuum line from the engine down the left side of the frame, and after removing my battery, I found the line severed with no sign of the remaining line. In other words, I don't know where it should connect to.

I found it here, underneath my battery box.

Severed vac line.

This is a '95 by the way. There's no canister present in my front bumper as it shows in the diagram.

Does anyone know where this line is supposed to go? I'll obviously be needing a new one!

It's supposed to go to the vacuum suppository that someone removed from your Jeep. Get another one. You can actually relocate that thing up higher in the engine bay if you want. That way you're trimming vac lines instead of trying to repair that busted end.

Generally passenger side of the engine bay.
