A/C Blower vacuum switch problem
Here's the issue Im running into fellas
1998 Cherokee
2.5 4cyl
5sp Manual
A/C Blows super cold
Position selection works great
When driving down the road, and I have the A/C set on High AC/Counter Clock wise it works great, but as soon as I get on the gas for a little bit, and vacuum pulls down (From load of motor) the A/C switches to the front windsheild vent/defrost mode.
I can hear the doors open/close for the normal vent and switch to defrost/window vent mode.
As soon as I get off the gas, and allow the vacuum to pull back in, it shuts the doors, and goes back to the original selection of High AC/ Counter Clock wise. The A/C Still blows cold air through out this error, but is rather annoying.
Anyone have any clues? TIA

You have a vacuum leak. You need to start by checking the vacuum ball located on the passenger side under the front bumper. Check it for any cracks and make sure that the vac lines are connected and are tight. Also check all of the vac lines for cracks from the ball all the way to the fire wall.
