Buzzing sound from under hood?

alright, i got this Cherokee i am trying to get running. I am jeep clueless and i don't know if it is supposed to make this buzzing sound.

it buzzes for a few seconds after i stop trying to start it. Jeep will not run.

Is this buzzing noise normal?

HOW THE HECK DID MY HAMSTER GET UNDER THERE? POOR ROCKY.

anyhow,,,,,,,what year is this?

from what I hear, sounds like starter solenoid is staying engaged, not the starter, but the solenoid.

you got ABS on this Jeep?

i don't know if it has ABS. I would go look right now but it's sitting in front of my mom's house. apartments don't really like it when you have extra non running vehicles taking up parking lot spaces. it is an '89. 250,xxx miles
