I recently replaced my buzzer had the black unit and replaced with the blue unit the buzzer now works when key is put in ignition and the door is open. Have a question should the head lights now go off automatically? They make a buzzing sound now but don't go off. Also, do I need the sentinel relay? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

 

I've owned the truck for 21 years and never used the headlight delay. Today, opened the owners manual and it described how it works. Headlights turned on switch the ignition off; turn the headlight switch off and the headlights stay on for 45 seconds.
