Well got my first encounter with a tree busted my rear hatch all up what year tail gates will fit my 91 xj

 

Anything 84-96 should work.

 

I'm picking up a 95 one hope it firs Ans now gotta paint it

 

I think 91/95 should swap, but I can't remember for sure, I've had both years. I do know when I tried to put a late 80s hatch on my 95, I found they were different. Search my posts here or NAXJA, I posted my findings somewhere. The hinges changed as did the hole diameters in the body and/or hatch, you might have a hard time getting it to seal, if that's important to you (it wasnt to me).
