Default Bushwacker flares (cut outs)

For a 99 cherokee, are the bushwacker cut out flares tough to install on a? I am concerned about cutting into my metal body and do they really give you as much wheel well space as they say they will?

Rear TJ Flares look good on an Xj if you haven't all ready got your flares. and they provide you with plenty of room.

TJ Flares will give you more wheel well space than the BW. If you can find a copy of last months JP Mag or check out there web site they installed a set of TJ Flares on a XJ to clear 31's with no lift..

The Tj flares are alot cheaper. I got 4 NEW shipped to my door for $155.00 from DiscountJeepparts.com.They take a little trimming to fit.Heres a good write-up on the install http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums...d.php?t=825442
This is how mine turned out with 6" lift 33's and a little trimming.

never seen rear tj flares up front..usually just tj front flares upfront and tj rear flares in the rear. i have thought of using tj flares though if i end up trimming my fenders. i kind of miss my flares..

Bushwhackers will give you more tire coverage, but they will inhibit flex because of the width of the flare.
This might help
