i have a chance to buy some bushwackers for a good price only thing is they are off of a 2000 xj and mine is an 88. Will they work? the price is decent but not good enough to buy them and then not work. Any help would be much appreciated. Bushwacker show a seperate one for 97 and up but sometimes that doesnt mean anything. Thanks.

 

Do you need this info quick? I have an in law that has a newer style XJ with the bushwacker flares, I can compare them to mine and let you know. It might take a few days though. He lives in a different town.

 

what i always thought was that they start out as the same thing, but for 97+ you need to modify them slightly.
