So i have clunking going on in the front end, and my bushings are pretty shot on my 89 XJ. so I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on kits/places to buy/avoid when looking at bushings.

Also I am thinking of putting a 3" lift on it to replace the 2" spacer lift, but that will be a few months from now. Should I wait till then to not duplicate work or does it not matter in this instance?

I did my stabilizer and end link bushings not too long ago. Bought the bushings and end links online off of Morris 4x4. The stabilizer bar bushings seem fine, just bought the regular rubber ones of about $2-$5 each. The end links were crap though. One snapped when I installed it. The other is not really the right size even though the site says it is. So I just went to a local parts store and bought another end link/bushing kit that was correct.
My advice, just go plain old rubber, and go to a local parts store.
My front end clunking is gone now.
