im puttin new leafsprings on my 96 cherokee and i have everything off but the actual leafspring on the left side, ubolts, stabilizer bar and shock are off, its just the bushing bolts dont wanna move. the front wont move at all even with an impact wrench at 240 psi. and the back will move, but it kinda klicks and its the whole piece that turns, instead of just the flared bolt, been hittin it with wd40 adn even tried heating the back one but it didnt work. any help is appreciated.

are you using a breaker bar the impact will be useless until you break it loose. and soak them in pb blaster penetrating lube for a day or two. if that don't work a torch and sawsall are your friend

I learned a while ago to not waste time and aggrivation on old rusty bolts. Just cut em off and go get new ones. Id rather spend a few bucks on new bolts than spend 4 hours fighting the old one only to have it snap anyways.

Been there. The bolts seize to the metal sleeve that's inside the bushing. The only way to get em off is to cut em or cut through the leaf spring. Impact gun is worthless on bolts seized in a bushing cuz the bushing absorbs all the power.
