I recently had my jeep at the mechanic to get a few things fixed and one thing I had him look at was the 4x4. It won't stay in 4hi I can shift it through neutral into 4lo but to get it in 4hi it just pops out if I can even get it in. Basically I would have to hold the lever in 4hi in order to keep it in. I had him look at it and he told me there is a bushing that is preventing it from staying in. He said I'd have to order the part from a dealer so I've been looking through numerous diagrams trying to find this bushing and I can't really find anything as to what he's taking about. He said there's the 4x4 lever then another rod that it connects to and he said that bushing is the one that's shot. Also I noticed I can wiggle the actual 4x4 lever about an inch either way while its in 2wd. If anyone could help or provide a diagram that could show me what bushing i need to order would be great! If I had someone that could shift it in and out of 4x4 I would crawl under there and look if I had a diagram I could just see what it's called and order it
