Burning up ecu
1990 xj ,I have put a new ecu on it it last 1 day so i took both ecu apart they are both burnt in the same spot ...so my question is does any one have a picture of the plug in on the ecu I think the burned spot is runnig to b1 b2 or b3 hope someone can lead me in the right direction

If my 88 notes are correct A&B is the 24 pin connector.
B#1 is Fuel Injector #1
B#2 is Fuel Injector #5
B#3 is Idle Step Motor Terminal A

A very low impedance fuel injector will smoke its ECU driver.
Check the resistance of your fuel injectors. Not sure about the '90, but the '97 + injectors are 12 Ohms at room temp.

I agree with CCKens information and I have an 88XJ so I and others can maybe help you with more information related to the Renix Jeep.
But we need to know that you are still interest and will to help in finding out what your problem is.
I’m not trying to be mean to you but we don’t have your Jeep in front of us.
