You can do that fender trimming thing to ANY year of Cherokee (84-01). There are 2" Budget Boost lift kits available all over the interent. Just do a Google search. I put a Daystar 1.5" Budget Boost on top of a Rusty's 4.5" lift kit to make 6 inches on my Jeep. But, even I put Rough Country X-Flex upper and lower control arms on my XJ. If you are wanting the best FULL 3" lift kit for your money, I recommend going with Rough Country.
